Pond Hockey

Three Rivers Athletic Complex is proud to continue to offer our popular Spring 3v3 Pond Hockey League. Come out to stay active and have some fun this spring with a Pond Hockey style league created "For the love of the game".

The season typically runs from April 19- June 14, skipping Mother’s Day and Memorial Day. . It consists of a 6-game 1/2 Ice season.

All games are 60-minute running time
No Checking
Full Equipment Required

Pond Hockey is for 8U, 10U, and 12U aged players.

When

WHAT IS POND HOCKEY?

A pond hockey style game is intended to resemble an outdoor "neighborhood" pickup hockey game traditionally played on a frozen pond or lake. It is typically a smaller rink and in our case play is split up into thirds of the rink. This promotes small space skill work. With the smaller play surface there are many shots and many puck touches.
